I was quite sceptical that this gravel rake was worth the high price but how wrong was I! Extremely strong, well designed and manufactured, it repaid itself by easily cutting through the compacted surface of the wheel tracks on my gravel drive to restore that crunchy sounding surface as you walk over it with a few firm strokes of this implement. The tines are very sharp to start with but slightly less so after vigorous use. However, it retains the ability to break down those mossy areas in particular separating the gravel below and leaving the moss to blow away. Before buying the rake, I thought I needed to buy more gravel. A good workout with the Sneeboer proved that I had plenty of gravel now that compacting and ridging had been removed and the gravel looks superb. If you have a similar problem or just want an excellent gravel rake, don't hesitate to purchase.
