This long handled sneeboer cultivator with three extremely sharp hand forged tines makes light work of breaking up soil before planting or sowing or when soil gets really compacted - allowing air, worms and rain to do their work.
The cultivator - manufactured by hand in Holland by dutch tool making masters Sneeboer - boasts three sharpened 6cm deep tines which bore into heavy and compacted soil with ease. Pull the cultivator towards you with minimum effort and marvel as the spiked tines rip up the soil - and with the middle tine set slightly deeper, you can be sure the Sneeboer cultivator won't be beaten!
And it's not only wide open spaces where the Sneeboer cultivator is first out of the potting shed; thanks to the relatively narrow head (9cm across), the claw-like cultivator will expertly navigate around crowded beds and borders.
The Sneeboer cultivator measures 173cm in length overall (ideal for taller gardeners and those with bad backs!); the head is 22cm long; each sharpened tine is 6cm deep and the head measures 9cm across - ideal for 'clawing' back your compacted soil!

Product Reviews
These impliments were common 50+ years ago. They break up hard ground a treat and are very good for a quick weed or till. British ones have a flange on the tines which rips more evenly.
Even though this cultivator is a bit more expensive than other makes, it is worth every penny. I suffer with a bad back and our flower borders are big. This tool has meant that I can get at the whole border without bending and I can reach the centre of the beds without having to trample all over the earth - avoiding early season soil comapction. I also really appreciate the quality of this tool. I can already tell that it's still going to be a favourite in many years to come .... Thank you!
