The ingenious Harcostar Downpipe Connector Rain Trap will fit all regular sized downpipes of 63, 68, 80 and 100mm diameter, plus 61 and 65mm square.
The flexible 50cm long hose allows the water butt or tank to be placed in the most convenient position and although designed and manufactured to work with the Harcostar range of water butts, the rain trap system easily connects with almost all butts and tanks.

Excellent product - purchased with an additional 3 metres of hose, as water butt on other side of path from down pipe. Butt filled after the first rainfall - a happy customer!
I replaced a cheaper DIY store product which had broken and tended to flood. The instructions were clear and with a little help from a 14 year old friend, I (elderly lady) easily managed to fix it. Everything is working well, no more flooding and it looks better too.
Installation was a problem because the tube supplied was too short. This was because the roof gutter drainpipe is on one side of a fence and the butt is on the other. 24" would have just worked; the 18" tube now has a length of 1" o/d tube halfway from each end. All for 6" of tube!
