The Harcostar Spare Hose Connector Tap is a highly invaluable garden watering accessory, fitting onto any of our Harcostar water butts. It has been designed to easily fit onto an hose using standard connectors.
The Hose Connector Tap, has a 3/4" BSP thread on them, which fits water butts that have a 3/4" BSP threaded hole (standard for UK water butts).
For those water butts that do NOT have a threaded hole, a normal hole of 25 or 26mm diameter will be required - the tap will fit this hole, since the outer diameter of the threaded portion of the tap, is 25/26mm in diameter

I was worried that this would not fit properly in my 750l waterbutt - which was full at the time. The old tap had snapped off after many winters. However, it fitted perfectly but I got rather wet fitting it. Works well and seems more solid than the tap it replaced.
