Product Reviews
Easy to put together if there are two people. Very effective caging
Strawberries have been wonderful this year and it has helped to have the strawberry cage to keep the birds off. Have also learnt to make sure we eradicate slugs and snails before putting the netting on! Cage is straight forward to erect once you get the hang of it. It takes two, especially if it is a large one. It is attractive looking, strong and effective.
We were looking forward to many helpings of delicious strawberrys given the early good weather and purchased a strawberry cage to protect our crop. Alas, somethinhg has been finding its way into the cage and feasting on the delicious stawberrys. It turns out to have been squirrels. The heavy duty neting may be bird proof but it certainly isn't squirrel proof. They bite their way in and can't find their way out so bite another hole to get out. Is squirrel proof netting available or do I have to resort to a gun?
