These Organic Discovery Apple Trees, with their delicious crisp, juicy and sweet crimson fruits, are an excellent early dessert apple - ideal for those of us who just can't wait for the season's first juicy eating apple!
Grown sustainably on the semi-dwarfing M26 rootstock, these Soil Association certified organic Discovery Apple Trees can be trained as espaliers or cordons or grown as a bush type tree, reaching a very manageable height of 4.5m (15'). Discovery is a variety suitable for growing in colder areas and because of their early August ripening, Discovery apples do not store well - all the more reason to eat up the delicious fruit immediately!

Planting - do not attempt to plant your fruit trees when the ground is frozen or waterlogged. The trees can be stored in their packaging in an outbuilding or garage for 2-3 days, or can be heeled into the soil where the ground is not as frozen. Alternatively, plant up in large pots or containers and ensure the roots have good contact with the soil.
