I think these are a really good size and look good too. The optional lid is a little clumsy to deal with - particularly when you have armfuls of clippings to put in.
I've had the bin & lid for a month now and put in about 300ltrs of waste. Assembling was easy but fidly as the holes weren't drilled quite straight. I actually assembled it upside down as the panels otherwise dig into the ground and would rot in weeks, the other way up there is gap off the ground. When i first filled it i had a backlog of garden waste and some fresh cut grass. I mixed in some dry chicken manure pellets to improve the quality. Within hours it got very hot for about a week, at least 30C with lots of steam. The panels warped a the edges as they aren't very thick. It's now calmed down and is gently brewing but the heat & steam has made the lids a bit more difficult to fit. In all fairly good but a bit flimsy for the price and size.
