The 12.7mm/16mm Converter Tubing (Pack of 8) is designed to allow our extensive range of 12.7mm diameter aluminium tubing to be used with the 2012 RHS Chelsea Flower Show New Garden Product of the Year Award-winning Harrod Slot and Lock® Connectors.
The clear plastic tubing converters simply fit over the end of the 12.7mm tube, allowing it to be tightened into place by the connector screws and are supplied in packs of eight. The 12.7mm/16mm Converter Tubing is ideal if you wish to replace Build-a-Ball or other connectors on an existing vegetable cage or structure.

Having bought a lot of the 5/8"diameter tube to make cages -which were successful I was finding that the rubber balls at the corners were failing. As the Al tube will last for years and the new slot and lock connectors are so much more robust these bushes are just what's needed.
