Azalea 'Johanna' is a beautiful compact evergreen azalea with small neat foliage, the dark green leaves have a burgundy tint in autumn and deep red flowers are produced in late spring and early summer.
A Medium Shrub, typically grows to around 4 feet in height, compact and spreading, produces ruffled, open-funnelled flowers in clusters of 3-6. Plant in groups for a carpet of early season colour.
Hardy - cold winter - Hardy in most places throughout the UK even in severe winters. May not withstand open/exposed sites or central/northern locations. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -15°C (5°F)
