These Organic Celery plants have strong, upright stalks with a crisp, clean and succulent flavour. This plant has a lovely looking apple-green colour, fading to white at the base.
Celery loves deep fertile soil that is very moist but not boggy! Plenty of organic matter is essential. It prefers acid to alkaline conditions, so never give it lime.
Soak plants well with water. As the plants develop cut off the side shoots and hold plants in a tight bunch and earth them up. Ensure that only the tops of the leaves are above the new ridges keeping the ground moist.
A good self blanching variety of celery which is bolt-resistant and will stand over a long period without losing quality.
