Many of you have been asking for a Muddy Boot Wiper that is built to last so we set about designing our very own superior version which would look great situated outside the potting shed or a back door.
We have used 1.6mm thick, 32mm x 32mm box section steel for the frame and then powder coated it in polyester textured matt black, just like our heavy duty steel fruit cages, for an elegant finish.
It stands at 1m high and the comfortable rubber gripped T handle is useful for steadying yourself before you use the 2 recessed shoe scraping plates to knock the worst of the mud off.
The 4 individual black polypropylene bristle brushes (26cm x 7cm), positioned to clean both the sole and edge of your boots, then make light work at cleaning the boot in one swift action.

I am about to purchase a 3rd one of these the other is at our daughters (my husband cares for her garden plus ours.) I purchased the second for our son and his wife now we need one. Yes they are pricey but they are so well made. And replacement brushes can be purchased. I have tried a cheaper model from a different company - it began rusting within 2 weeks

The Country Garden Boot Wiper was the most impressive. Although more expensive than the others, I felt that, long term it would be worth every penny. For those who get really stuck in and have a clay soil, this is the answer for muddy boots. I would highly recommend this for a garden business, as it would cope well with heavy use. It offers a sturdy rubber grip T-handle at a height of 1m, which is great to steady yourself with. The frame is durable and made of 1.6mm thick, 32mm x 32mm box section steel, which is powder-coated matt black. There are four brushes measuring 26 x 7cm, which are good and solid and won't shed bristles. It's heavy enough to sit firm outside and man enough to cope with the roughest toughest gardeners.
