Give large plants and shrubs the water they need right where they need it with the Deep Drip Tree Watering Stakes, heavy duty plastic stakes which hit the root zone full on.
Designed to send water - and liquid feed - right down to the engine room of plants and shrubs, the hi-tech Deep Drip spikes are constructed of sturdy and recyclable ABS plastic and the multiple holes in the bottom half of the spike, covered by a mesh filter, allows water to flow out and keeps dirt from getting in and clogging the tube.
The UV protected cap on top of the Deep Drip watering spike acts as a protective and reinforced cover when hammering the stake in the ground along with keeping stones and leaves from entering the shaft of the device.
The 35.5cm watering stake is perfect for small trees and shrubs with shallow roots. Simply reposition the Deep Drip Watering Spike beneath the outer edge of the tree’s canopy as it grows, water regularly and let nature do the rest!

Our horticulturist Martin Fiddes says; "Supplying a plant's roots with water, fertiliser and oxygen is paramount to healthy and vigourous growth and the Deep Drip Watering Spikes do all three.
"This is especially the case when it comes to newly planted or established trees and shrubs as the roots have to supply an extensive network of branches and leaves, and many young plants struggle in their first year if conditions aren't perfect.
"In certain soil conditions, very little water actually makes it down to the roots when watering with a watering can or hose and as well as wasting valuable water resources, the plant isn't benefitting.
"These stakes however deliver water and nutrients to the plant's engine room and promote more extensive and deeper root growth which in turn stabilises the plant and makes it more effective at feeding - and the resultant growth and general plant health is no surprise!"
