The handy Dual Display Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer with Alarm will give you all the temperature-based data you'll need from both inside and outside the greenhouse to keep your plants safe - and with the additional bonus of a low and high temperature alarm alert, you can put in place heaters or ventilation to ensure plants never dry out or suffer frost damage again!
The indoor/outdoor thermometer has a host of features; an easy-to-read digital display screen measures 36mm wide by 16mm high; flip between celcius and farenheit readings and set the alarm with simple push button controls and the wide temperature range (-20°C to +70°C indoor and -50°C to +70°C outdoor) will cope with all the extremes of British weather.
A dual display reveals the current indoor and outdoor temperature simultaneously by way of a built in thermostat and probe respectively and the max/min memory function allows you to find out what happened temperature-wise during the day or night in your absence. The alarm function warns if a minimum or maximum temperature of your choice has been reached or exceeded, and with full instructions and 1 x AAA battery included, you'll take complete climate control of your greenhouse or potting shed in no time!

You have to give this Dual Display In/Out Thermometer credit for being rather clever. It comes with a 3m long external weatherproof lead that ends in a probe. You keep the main body in the greenhouse (this records internal temperatures and is not weather resistant) and put the probe outside to record the external temperature. The digital device needs 1 x AAA battery, which comes in the pack. The screen clearly shows readings for inside and out, and you can choose between Celsius and Fahrenheit. It has a high/low temperature alarm alert and a low battery indicator.
