These 4cm diameter Eco Coir Netted Pellets take up next to no space in your greenhouse or potting shed but produce big results when used to sow and grow your vegetable and ornamental seedlings and cuttings.
Never has the phrase 'just add water' been so appropriate as that's all you need to do with these Jiffy 7 lookalikes and each environmentally friendly pellet - they're made from coir pith, the perfect alternative to peat - will swell up to form a perfect growing medium for seeds and plant cuttings.
The netted growing pellets are supplied in packs of 25, they boast a spot-on ph level and will easily absorb and retain water - not only that, but the swollen coir discs including the seedling or young plant can be planted out directly into the soil, minimising root disturbance and transplanting shock. Your plants will love them and so will you!

Using Eco Coir Netted Pellets for Seed Sowing - make a small hole on the top about 5mm deep, place the seed and gently cover it with potting compost or vermiculite and place in an appropriate environment for the variety.
Using Eco Coir Netted Pellets for Cuttings - make a deep hole using a skewer or similar object and gently push in the stem to about two thirds of the height of the pellet. Use rooting hormone if desired although this is not essential.

Very easy to use, took up water very quickly, but they were a little small and it was awkward to put a label in! Seeds germinated well, and I'm pleased to have found a peat-free version for use when I only want to sow two or three seeds such as courgette.
