Economical to run, the 10 watt heated base consumes just one sixth of the power of a standard household light bulb. The electric base provides warmth which aids fast germination and supports young plant development. The crystal clear high top cover with adjustable vent enables the control of ideal humidity conditions.
All components are injection moulded in rigid plastic to give many years of repeat use. The growing tray features 'two tier' drainage and capillary holes which aid healthy root development while the clear cover gives a full 12cm of height clearance.

Reasonable quality for the price. Unfortunately the lid was received cracked and with corner snapped off which was disappointing. But shouldn't impact the performance.

This compact 'Starter Propagator' is doing a sterling job for me , in place of a greenhouse I had to get rid of . Tomatoes ,Peppers and Chillies now out of the propagator and thriving in my cold frame .Well deserving of the all-round 5 star rating I've given . I am looking forward to being able to continue as usual in 'getting my seeds going early' despite unfavourable weather .

Kitchen Garden Top Pick - Best for Beginners. This is an excellent starter propagator. The bottom heat it provides is excellent for germination and with a relatively tall lid will accommodate seedlings as they grow into young plants. The adjustable vent on the top of the lid allows for the release of condensation. Great for beginners or if you are growing on a small scale and not too large for most windowsills for the natural light that seedling require.

This electric propagator is perfect for germinating your veg, herbs and cut flowers. One of my favourite aspects of it is the price, which is very competitive. It is also economical in terms of electricity, using a 10-watt heat bed base, consuming just one-sixth of the energy of a standard light bulb. The propagator is fairly small and therefore takes up hardly any space. It has a clear, domed cover for optimum conditions and there is an adjustable vent to reduce humidity.
