They're also great at reducing dirt and slime build up in ponds too as well as in toilets and fish or water tanks where they will help to structure water. Can increase the cleansing power of detergents in the laundry.
Clay that has been fermented with EM, is known as EM ceramics and has extraordinary properties derived through the production process. The information ( DNA) from the Effective Micro-organisms is captured forever within the clay after baking at high temperatures. These properties include a resonance of health promoting frequencies. As resonance is most strongly transferred in water EM Ceramics are extremely useful in restoring the water clusters that reduce calcification and boosting the energy of water. The water quality improves and stays fresher longer.
- Now supplied in a white mesh bag with no loop
- Simply hang the bag in the water butt, pond or whatever area of water you are treating
- Ideally hang the bag on the side where the flow of water comes in so that the water runs through the ceramics

We started using these chips around 10 years ago and the water in the butts are just showing signs of not being quite so fresh and so have just ordered another set of two - one for each water butt.
I have used these chips in my water butts and in my 2 water features. They work, and that is about it. How this works I am not completely sure, but they do make a big difference.
I've used these chips in my water butts for several years and they've stayed clean. This year I've tried them in my pond which has a big problem with blanket weed. They made a substantial difference very quickly and are well worth having. There's still some weed but it's not covering the surface as it was before. What I'd love to know is how they work?
