It's worth investing in a quality Hardwood Plant House because it has many uses like bringing on cuttings and seedlings, seed propagation and hardening off plants - manufactured from FSC certified Acacia Hardwood wood with black powder coated stainless steel fittings.
The UV stabilised twin walled glazing diffuses light to prevent scorching and ventilation can be controlled using the large front doors or the adjustable lid section. To accommodate larger plants, just move or adjust the shelving. The Acacia wood has been treated to combat initial rotting but we strongly recommend applying an annual coating of teak oil to keep the plant house in pristine condition.
- Three sturdy shelves can be adjusted in height to accommodate taller plants
- The adjustable lid can be fixed open to vary ventilation and for ease of watering
- Quick and easy self assembly using only a screwdriver
- Treat annually with teak oil to preserve wood
- Plant House Dimensions: H 110cm x W 76cm x D 47cm
The Hardwood Plant House is manufactured from FSC certified wood. The FSC logo is the mark of responsible forestry and by choosing FSC products you can be sure that you are helping prevent forest destruction. ©1996 FSC
Product Reviews
An excellent hardwood plant house that is really easy to assemble (it took me 40 minutes from opening the box to it being on the patio) simple instructions and a bit of common sense helped! Also the delivery time was excellent, I ordered mine on the Sunday evening and it was delivered to my work address on the following Tuesday. I would highly recommend both the Plant House and Harrod Horticultural.
Good product. Relatively easy to build once I worked out which was the top\ side \ etc of each item. It would be even better with a base. I have moved the house a couple of times while finding it the optimum location in my garden and in so doing I learned the hard way that you have to move it completely empty (including without the shelves) as the black pegs that support the shelves fall out their holes very easily.

"Took two hours (to construct), and required two people, plus tools. Assembly instructions were good and easy to follow. A very sturdy greenhouse that looks good, and is capacious. It is best for a site where a semi-permanent structure is needed. Although lightweight it copes well with high winds. Made from FSC certified wood."
