The Plant Support Hole Former might not be the most glamorous product ever to grace our range but when you're struggling to insert a border restraint, loop stake, y-stake or a set of link stakes into hard, compacted and stony soil, you'll be glad of its presence.
Manufactured from 0.8cm diameter steel rod, the 53cm long hole former can be pushed or hammered into unforgiving soil to create the perfect siting holes for any of our range of plant support stakes - and because our supports are so springy and flexible, pushing them directly into hard ground bends and damages them.
