The door kit frame measures 970mm in width and is supplied complete with locking hinges, clip-on door catches and a separate door catch upright for complete fruit cage security. Although our Aluminium Fruit Cages are all supplied with a door kit as standard, we decided to make these extra doors available to create further access points - particularly useful in large cages or when fruit and vegetable planting dictates.
- Additional Aluminium Fruit Cage Door Kit is exactly the same as that provided as standard with our Aluminium Fruit Cage
- Valuable addition if you decide to purchase a large fruit cage and require more than one entry point
- Ideal for creating extra access when planting and maintenance dictates
- Measures 970mm wide
- Manufactured from top quality 25mm diameter tubular aluminium
- Supplied with locking hinges, clip-on door catches and support upright
- Position next to any existing upright

Our Aluminium Fruit Cage Door Kits are designed to be positioned against a corner upright for stability. Product Reviews
The door would benefit from having 3d assembly instructions Would be good to have a diagonal to upright connection to brace for stability instead of using the two way connector and tie wraps

I have just completed the erection of my aluminium cage, which was fine, easy and uncomplicated. However, when it came to fitting the doors it was a different story. The doors need redesigning, and particularly need a cross brace of some sort to keep them rigid. One of the conectors broke while being hammered in but, fortunately I managed to ram it further in leaving an inch or so of remaining connector to screw down. The connectors were too large and needed a lot of hammering to fit. The loop to secure the additional pole is a disaster as it is not the right shape and is very hard to fit. The hinges are difficult to secure and do not hold the door straight. There is nothing in the instuctions to advise that the roof pole braces interfere with the door frame and therefore have to be removed from the upright against which the door is fixed. It is a fine and practical looking cage, but something really needs to be done about the doors.

2. Can I add another door kit to my already erected fruit cage?
