Like most plums, Organic Oullins Golden Gage Plum Trees are well suited to growing as a fan on a south facing wall or fence and as we supply this gage plum variety as a maiden tree, training and pruning to achieve this form is simple - as is the bush type tree style which also gives excellent results. Our Organic Oullins Golden Gage plum trees are grown on St Julien A rootstocks which results in a moderately vigorous tree; this mid-season plum variety is also self fertile and acts as a good pollinator for plum types which need a helping hand and if you can't wait to taste the juicy, round gage-shaped plums, the good news is that Organic Oullins Golden Gage are ready to pick from early August!
Organic Oullins Golden Gage Plum Trees are despatched in bare-root form between November and March.

Planting and Delivery Information
See our Guide to Successful Fruit Trees for more growing advice.
Planting - do not attempt to plant your fruit trees when the ground is frozen or waterlogged. The trees can be stored in their packaging in an outbuilding or garage for 2-3 days, or can be heeled into the soil where the ground is not as frozen. Alternatively, plant up in large pots or containers and ensure the roots have good contact with the soil.
