The good news continues as Sunburst is a cherry variety capable of flourishing across most of the UK but as with most cherry trees, it will reward you if planted in a sunny aspect.
Supplied as a bare rooted maiden tree, our Sunburst cherry trees are grown on Gisela 5 semi dwarfing rootstocks and make an excellent fan trained cherry or an equally productive - and manageable - bush tree. Self fertile Sunburst cherries are picked from late July but don't forget to use Fruit Tree Sleeves on the developing fruit to keep off the birds - they've got the same fine sense of taste as us!
Organic Sunburst Cherry Trees are despatched in bare-root form between November and March.

Planting and Delivery Information
Planting - do not attempt to plant your fruit trees when the ground is frozen or waterlogged. The trees can be stored in their packaging in an outbuilding or garage for 2-3 days, or can be heeled into the soil where the ground is not as frozen. Alternatively, plant up in large pots or containers and ensure the roots have good contact with the soil.
