Plagued by earwigs
By using Nemaslug regularly I appear to have some control over the slug population on my allotment but I am now plagued by earwigs. Is there anything you can suggest that will help me reduce/get rid of these pesky little creatures?
Regards,
Brian
The traditional way to control earwigs is to place upside down plant pots on canes stuffed with newspaper. The earwigs go up into them and you collect in the morning and dispose of them. Another method could be the use of a pyrethrum based powder at the base of plants, the earwigs pick up the powder. Harrod Horticultural have a product called Agrothrin, which would be suitable. I hope this helps.
