The twin-walled polycarbonate side glazing panels pose no threat to children and pets, keep plants well insulated and form an effective barrier to hail and frost. Triangular roof panels are easily removed from the Ornamental Pyramid Cold Frame for hassle-free access and ventilation.

The reason it took my partner and I several hours to put this together was because he decided he did not need to do more than glance at the instructions and not read to the end of a section. However - when we undid it all to start again the instructions were clear. You need quite a lot of space and a flat floor and it is much better with two people. The cold frame looks FANTASTIC. It is a real focal point in the garden and will be useful all the year round. It is very easy to remove the panels - clever design here - and is quite easy to move if needed.
So nice to find a cold frame which is both elegant and practical, it looks lovely on my patio with the raised bed. More expensive than most, it is well designed and sturdy, plus, with the optional mesh panels, doubles up as a crop protector during the summer months making it good value too. After just a few days the veg in the frame are doing much better than those in pots. It arrived flat packed and assembly looked daunting, however, it reminded me of a child's meccano set and I put it together in an afternoon.

This Pyramid Cold Frame has an aluminium frame and twin-walled glazing panels. The triangular roof vents are removable for easy access, and can be replaced with fine mesh for ventilation without the risk of insects damaging plants. It can be placed directly on the soil or used with a specially designed raised bed kit. Other sizes are available.
