Rhododendron Winsome is compact, bushy evergreen shrub with bronze young foliage, later turning mid-green and clusters of salmon pink funnel-shaped flowers 5-6cm (2-2½in) long in early spring.
A great addition to the garden if space is limited, this dwarf Rhododendron is ideal to add early season colour to the front of a border. Typically grows to around 4-6 feet in height with clusters of striking flowers covering the plant in April/May and the new bronze coloured growth in early spring provides a longer season of interest.
Half Hardy - Hardy in coastal and relatively mild parts of the UK except in severe winters and a risk from sudden (early) frosts. May be hardy elsewhere with wall shelter or good micro-climate. Likely to be damaged if not protected in really cold winters.
