Product Reviews
The delivery was on time and as we were warned to have the ground prepared, all was ready except the weather! The plants were in excellent condition, carefully packed in straw although some of the labels had gone astray. The design is such a matter of personal taste and unless you grow form seed or buy individually it will not suit everyone. We love the mixture of salad leaves but would have liked extra beetroot. Despite the rain all were successfully planted, some in open, some in greenhouse. Now, two weeks later, all are growing well except for one lettuce eaten by slugs.
I was a bit confused with regards delivery dates after receiving notification of delivery on 13th May and not receiving the order till 30th May. I understand from the actual suppliers that the plants were not strong enough to be delivered till then but I really suspect there had been a mix up with my original order. What I didn't realise is that there would be so many lettuces - a suggestion that maybe a few more salad plants such as spring onions, peppers, etc. On the whole though the plugs looked healthy and happy, will see what actually happens as I only planted them at the weekend (1st June) :-)
