The Solar Electronic Water Timer with Rain Sensor works in tandem with nature to ensure your garden watering is both economic and plant friendly as this ingenious outdoor timer uses the power of the sun to recharge its batteries and the in-built rain sensor to turn off when it rains.
Fully automatic, the solar water timer has two simple-to-set dials - watering frequency and duration - and will allow you to water from five minute intervals to daily (frequency) and from 10 seconds to two hours (duration), giving you full control of your garden watering regime.
The water timer - which requires 2 x AA rechargeable batteries (not supplied) to operate - also has an overide feature for constant watering, will screw directly onto a threaded ¾" BSP tap, is fitted with a male hozelock-type connector for easy hosepipe attachment and boasts a water and tamper resistant cover.
Perfect for when you go on holiday, this invaluable solar garden water timer can be used for raised bed irrigation systems and soaker hoses and will make worrying about your watering a thing of the past!

Excellent piece of kit for temporarily watering the garden when away during holidays
Great product and excellent value for money.
The waterer performed very well for a couple of weeks. However, after a possible pressure surge in the water supply, the connection began to leak. On taking it apart I discovered that the inner washer on the collar was missing. CAN YOU SUPPLY, PLEASE? Fortunately I am able temporarily to use the second timer which I purchased at the same time.
