Every hand finished piece has its own character
Each piece of furniture is chemically etched by hand after the zinc coating is applied leaving an antique finish. The joy of these hand processes means that every piece has its own character that evolves with age and improves as the product weathers. Colours can vary from light to dark grey. The finish is always varied, it is not a paint and is not intended to be completely uniform, which adds to the charm of these unique pieces.
The Southwold Rectangle Dining Table
The robust rectangle dining table features stylish curved legs, scrolled feet and an attractive top and is designed to comfortably seat up to 6 people, measuring 1.8m Long, 0.9m diameter and stands 73cm high.

The table and chairs are structurally guaranteed for 25 years, but our testing suggests that all the Southwold Furniture Collection can be genuinely considered as heirloom pieces that will last for generations if looked after.
The Southwold Carver Chairs
The Southwold Carver Chairs in the sets have been designed to be both comfortable and beautiful. The material has been carefully selected using different thicknesses of steel to ensure the right amount of 'give' while retaining structural strength. The chair legs use 8mm thick steel for strength and rigidity, the arms use 5mm thick steel and the seat base and back use 3mm slats to give comfort and spring to the seat.
Add cushions to your furniture set
Cushions are not supplied but can be bought separately and are available in either Ivory or Grey. The cushions measure 47cm x 47cm x 4cm thick. Made with Acrylic Canvas the cushions are water resistant but store away during the winter and wet weather.
The cushions can be washed by hand at a cool temperature using hand washing detergent. They need to be allowed to dry fully which can take some time. Machine washing is not advised according to the material manufacturer.
Please note: If you are ordering benches, each cushion is for each individual seat on the bench i.e. a 3 seater bench will need 3 cushions.
Complete your furniture set
Parasol is not supplied but is available to buy separately. Measuring 3m wide and 2.25m tall the parasol has an easy wind mechanism and can also be easily tilted. The aluminium frame and polyester canopy in stone colour, is shower resistant and has a UV50+ sun protection rating. A base is also available which weighs 32kg, providing stable support for the canopy.
Banquet Dining Table Option
Entertain large gatherings of friends and family without foregoing style and elegance with our Banquet Dining option. Seating up to 14, this is the perfect solution for alfresco dining on a larger scale. We've created this using 2 x 1.8m long rectangle dining tables, 4 x 3 seater backless benches and 2 x carver chairs.

The Rectangle table is a slightly more formal table compared to the round and oval tables, creating a stylish dining area for entertaining family and friends.
