Southwold Pergola
The pergola is manufactured from high grade steel which is hot dip galvanised for rust protection and then hand etched to give an antique appearance that improves with age as the pergola weathers. Measuring 3m x 3m and 2.4m High, the 1.8m rectangle table fits perfectly underneath.
The main uprights of the pergola are made using 75mm x 75mm square steel sections finished with decorative 9cm diameter sphere finials. External crossbars use 50mm x 50mm section with the central crossbars using 31.8mm x 31.8mm sections. Floor fixing bolts are available separately.
Retractable Awning - high-grade marine canvas awning in ivory for sun shade and shower protection. Suspended from 3mm diameter stainless steel cables which allow it to be easily retracted and opened with the supplied pole. The awning has integral aluminium battens and is attached to the support wires by stainless steel carabiners that can be easily removed for storage.
Southwold 1.8m Rectangle Dining Table & Carver Chairs
The Southwold Rectangle Dining Table 1.8m and 6 Carver Chairs will make a stunning addition to your outside space, inspired by traditional English blacksmith furniture, these sets have timeless appeal and have been thoughtfully designed for great comfort.
Each piece of furniture is chemically etched by hand after the zinc coating is applied leaving an antique finish. The joy of these hand processes means that every piece has its own character that evolves with age and improves as the product weathers. Colours can vary from light to dark grey. The finish is always varied, it is not a paint and is not intended to be completely uniform, which adds to the charm of these unique pieces.
The Southwold Rectangle Dining Table
The robust rectangle dining table features stylish curved legs, scrolled feet and an attractive top and is designed to comfortably seat up to 6 people, measuring 1.8m Long, 0.9m diameter and stands 73cm high.
The table and chairs are structurally guaranteed for 25 years, but our testing suggests that all the Southwold Furniture Collection can be genuinely considered as heirloom pieces that will last for generations if looked after.
Southwold Carver Chairs & Cushions
The Southwold Carver Chairs in the sets have been designed to be both comfortable and beautiful. The material has been carefully selected using different thicknesses of steel to ensure the right amount of 'give' while retaining structural strength. The chair legs use 8mm thick steel for strength and rigidity, the arms use 5mm thick steel and the seat base and back use 3mm slats to give comfort and spring to the seat.
Cushions are supplied in Ivory to complement the awning colour on the pergola. The cushions measure 47cm x 47cm x 4cm thick. Made with Acrylic Canvas the cushions are water resistant but store away during the winter and wet weather.
The cushions can be washed by hand at a cool temperature using hand washing detergent. They need to be allowed to dry fully which can take some time. Machine washing is not advised according to the material manufacturer.
