Incredibly simple yet stunningly effective, each tomato plant halo is pushed into a planting hole cut in the plastic skin of a grow bag and features a watering moat around the outside of the central planting hole; just top this outer ring up with water, apply liquid feed to the centre hole and the two sets of roots which develop - water and feed searching - will do the rest! Six hollow plastic spikes reach down into the grow bag soil and send the 3 litres of water the moat can hold right where it's required, taking 3-5 hours to empty the reservoir.

The tomato plant pots arrived as promised, they have been very successful, so far in providing the right medium in which to grow.
Using for outdoor tomatoes and various squash type plants, in grow bags and raised beds. Clever design. Finding that make it easier to establish the small plants and keep slugs away. Watering so much easier.
I have been using the green ones for years, but these no longer seem to be available. These are a little bigger in diameter, and as I use one 6' metal cane for support, the support to hold this in place squashes the new halo and distorts the shape. Otherwise as expected.

It's simply a matter of putting them in place, adding compost to the inner container and water to the outer reservoir. There are integrated slots for canes if needed.
