Made from UV-stabilised polypropylene plastic, the close-mesh, rot-resistant guards protect up to a height of 55cm and open from 5cm to 10cm in diameter as the girth of the trunk increases. 'Best Buy' has to be the Harrod Horticultural tree guards! Brilliantly easy to fit, with the uncanny ability of wrapping themselves around the trunks without any need for fixings. Once in position they will move with the trunk requiring no more intervention. The material is strong enough to deter any pests such as muntjac and rabbits but they are easy to cut to size with scissors. Arriving in packs of five for less than £8 per pack, what more could you want.
