Arguably the busiest week in the Harrod Horticultural Calendar is rounded off on Thursday and Friday (July 14th and 15th) when the latest set of informative website video clips are shot in the stunning grounds of the Kitchen Garden.
Filmed by Splash Broadcast and with the very capable hands of ex-GMTV cameraman Mark Hampshire on the camera tiller, the short clips shot over the previous two years and uploaded to the relevant product pages on the Harrod Horticultural site have proved exceptionally popular with visitors to the site and customers alike.
The beautifully shot video clips convey assembly information and product advice which a catalogue or static web page just cannot equal and with a raft of technical products in their extensive range, the Lowestoft-based mail order company have plenty of subject matter to focus on.
Of the current crop of video clips online, the Guide to Garden Netting (see above) presented by Harrod's own horticulturist Martin Fiddes is by far the most popular with the lion's share of viewers tuning in to follow Martin's netting advice. With a Splash Broadcast-produced gardening DVD also safely tucked away in his portfolio, Martin is the natural choice to present clips on various products this time around including raised bed mangers, patio growing systems and plant supports.
Also making an appearance in front of the lens will be New Product Manager Alex Rocke, who will be introducing and explaining the new Harrod Horticultural Garden Arch range - so don't forget to check in to the website in a few weeks time and view the clips we're looking forward to shooting!
