VITIS coignetiae (Crimson glory vine) is a vigerous woody ornamental vine that has three to five-lobed heart-shaped leaves to 30cm (12in) long turning bright-red in autumn and produces small, unpalatable, blue-black grapes 1cm (½in) across.
Hardy in most places throughout the UK even in severe winters. May not withstand open/exposed sites or central/northern locations. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -15°C (5°F)
