White Cabbage Golden Acre is a super sweet cabbage variety with crisp thick leaves, gives you a crunchy texture when shredded. Ideal to use raw salads.
These white cabbage plants prefer a sunny site with deep, firm, moisture retentive soil, space each plant 30cm (12 inches) apart. Cabbages will happily grow in good sized containers (at least 30cm / 12inch diameter) or perfectly in raised beds.
You'll frustrate the cabbage white butterflies season after season with anti butterfly netting, a lightweight yet high strength netting which will drape over any vegetable frame or garden support.
