Winter squash Buttercup has a deliciously dense, firm flesh and a beautifully sweet and nutty flavour with an unusually flat shape, great for roasting, using in a soup or to make a delicious pie.

These grow well outside, so if you have the space then go for a raised bed or similar, but they will grow well in pots too.

The skin is a green/grey colour and the fruits grow to approximately 1.5kg.
