Why choose an Obelisk Plant Support?

Borders can be brought to life instantly with an obelisk that brings height, unmistakable definition and a wealth of support to favourite plant varieties that intertwine with the decorative handcrafted framework. It really is a simple way to add interest and style to your garden whilst combining them with planters will give a patio area amazing symmetrical structure, which simultaneously gives a sense of grandeur, without any hassle at all. If you want to create different levels of planting, combining with planters is the ideal way to achieve this in which they can create a stunning, well-structured courtyard with the perfect balance of different heights.

We’ve been delighted to team up with Hoveton Hall Gardens, in Norfolk, to build their exciting kitchen garden.  Among the arches, cages, plant supports and raised beds are the Southwold obelisks that were incorporated into the design. The focal point of the middle plot is dedicated to one of our popular Roman Arches with two Southwold Pyramid Obelisks symmetrically placed in anthracite grey Superior Metal Raised Beds either side. This arch is used to grow grapes and is a shaded walkway through to the Southwold 3-Seater Bench strategically placed directly behind it. The Obelisks are used to climb beautiful Sweet Peas and add a wonderful focal point and eye catching display. They are also well positioned in the various borders throughout the entire garden which completes a wonderful well thought through design.
